From the 12 - 16 of September, the 27th annual Congress of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) took place in the capital of France - Paris.

EADV is a non-profit organization established in 1987 whose mission is to advance excellence in clinical care, research, education and training in the field of dermatology and venereology. EADV is the largest organization in Europe focused on dermatology and venereology and one of the largest in the world after the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).

EADV hosts the largest annual congress of dermatology and venereology in Europe, attended by Dr. Nedyalko Dragolov and Dr. Miroslav Dragolov from Mirabel - Burgas.

The main accents of this year were allergic and autoimmune diseases, melanoma and non-melanoma skin tumors, nail diseases and diseases of the skin appendages (alopecia), acne and rosacea, and atopic dermatitis. Other main topics were also pediatric dermatology and dermatosurgery as well as discoveries in local and systemic therapy.

This year, the main highlights were novelties in the treatment of psoriasis, dermatological oncology, treatment of alopecia, acne, rosacea and atopic dermatitis. Particular attention was paid to pediatric dermatology and dermatoscopy as a means of early detection of skin carcinomas. The last day of the congress was dedicated to the novelties in aesthetic and anti-aging medicine.
